The course covers human anatomy and physiology, clinical biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, histopathology, cytology, and blood banking, enabling learners to understand normal body structure and function, disease mechanisms, and laboratory diagnostic processes.
Learners gain hands-on experience in specimen collection, processing, analysis, and reporting, using modern laboratory techniques and equipment while adhering to quality control, safety, and ethical standards. The program emphasizes practical skill development in performing hematological investigations, biochemical assays, microbiological culture and staining, histopathological and cytological preparations, blood grouping, transfusion procedures, and laboratory management. On completion, learners are prepared to work effectively in medical laboratories, contributing to accurate patient diagnosis, treatment monitoring, and overall healthcare delivery.
